Dear Viewers:

While the training portion of this website is still in its formation stage. I would like to share the "why or perceived need" for its creation. As a long-time addictions counsellor and now college instructor of an addictions counselling training program, I have found a great many community-based "recovery homes" that utilize Christian principles - terrific right? The "problem" for (some of) these recovery homes is that they are run by staff members who may not be fully trained (and certified) in either Christian Ministry (M. Div.) or formal Addiction Counsellor training (Certificate ~ Diploma). Without properly trained and certified staff, many recovery homes (non-profit agencies) find it increasingly difficult to obtain secular community support and government funding.

While we cannot offer a Masters of Divinity program over this website, we can offer an on-line Christian-based Addiction Counsellor training program that will facilite graduate students getting certified with several addiction counsellor professional organizations!
